Other Peoples Photographs

Georges House Gallery latest project has finally opened today, at the top of the Old High Street. There are also two touchscreen booths in Bouverie Place Shopping Centre where you can see further information about the project.
I just went up the road to take a look and it was pretty busy, so Im gonna take a proper look later. Head on over to the Georges House Gallery site for some further information.

I've just added Jo Letchford Mosaics to the site. If you fancy learning how to make your own mosaics, Jo offers regular courses held in her shop in the Old High Street, or if you just fancy taking a look at her work, pop in and have a look

Voucher winner has been chosen

The winner of the Folkestone Herald's Creative Quarter competition is being handed her £500 voucher today. The voucher has a form on the back where the shopowner can put in details of what has been purchased, the cost and also an area for a signature. Ill post more info when I find out who it was that won the comp.

Late night opening on the 13th

It's late night opening time again in the Creative Quarter. The lights are now on and working down the Old High Street, so it looks a lot more like its Christmas time. Pop down tonight and please do take a look around and snap up some unique christmas presents.(p.s Hope it doesn't rain)

Rennies is now on the site

Im happy to say that Rennies are now added to the site, take a look here. If you are interested in design of any kind, make a visit to the street and take a good look around Paul and Karens shop, its packed to the brim with 20th Century British Art & Design.

The Neville Pundole Gallery

Nevilles page has just been added to the site, take a look here. Pop in to see Neville at 52 The Old High Street and browse his amazing selection of Glassware, Ceramics, Pottery and Artwork.

Late night opening!

It's late night opening tonight in the Creative Quarter from 5pm - 9pm. The Christmas lights (down the old high street) have gone up over the past few days and will be switched on tonight. These are the same lights as last year, so they will look excellent as they did then. Also the Christmas trees have gone up as well, one on the decking to the side of the Earl Grey pub near the top of the Old High Street and one outside Benhams at the top of Tontine Street.

Quake has been added

Ive just added QUAKE to the site. QUAKE is ran by Rachel at 64 The Old High Street, pop in and see her range of unique handbags and all manner of accessories.

Neville Pundoles new gallery is open

Neville pundole has officially opened his new gallery in the old Mini Mooch premises at number 52. pop in and have a browse.

The print Room has now moved!

Shane's move upto the top of the Old High Street is all completed, he now has a much larger space, which allows him to showcase his full range of work, make sure to check it out at 19-21 The Old High Street.
